Our Introduction to Tai Chi & Qigong is a 4-week session held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is specifically geared towards beginners and will also serve as a refresher class for students that used to practice, but stopped for a variety of reasons.
Students will be given a good introduction to what tai chi is all about and also the importance of qigong. We will go over qigong and tai chi movements step by step while emphasizing the benefits. After the 4-week session, the next step is to sign up for the Beginner Tai Chi or Qigong class.
The Intro classes will be taught by Master Guang’s assistant instructors. At the end of each session, students will be able to execute a qigong and tai chi training form. Master Guang will supervise all sessions and evaluate student progress.

What you need for the first day of class
- Please show up at least 5 minutes early.
- Wear comfortable clothing such as a t-shirt and sweat pants. YYTA t-shirt and shoes are available for purchase.
